ISP down timePosted by Bob S on May 30, 2010 (last modified on Nov 19, 2010)permanent post Webfaction, our Internet Service Provider, from time to time has scheduled downtime for software or hardware upgrades. This usually happens on a Sunday, and may last from a few minutes to an hour or so. During this time our website will become unavailable. There is no harm in trying to view our site... it just may not load. However if you are in the middle of entering information such as a trip report, you may lose it. (A good reason to use a text editor to write your report.) There is also the possibility our website will be down or slow to respond due to an Internet attack on our ISP or on another website sharing our host system. These attacks are infrequent and generally are resolved quickly. Scheduled downtime
