CDMC

Mt Becher; Tue Dec 22, 2009; backcountry skiing; leader: John Gray

This trip was moved from its original date because the recent rain had left a nasty crust everywhere. It was still evident in places, but mostly covered in several cm of fresh, and mostly held up under our turns. The best result of the postponement was we had a wonderful sunny day with spectacular views! I'll let a few pictures tell the story.

Conditions: There wasn't much snow depth lower down, it obviously rained a lot on all that November snow. Brush was quite thick on much of the old ski area.
