17 hikers enjoyed a cool walk in a cool place. The river bottom is full of geological and botanical interest. Chris did not fall in this time but several hikers enjoyed a cool swim in some of the many pools.
Another year we will invite a person who knows the geology and can explain some of the pre historic history of the area.
Keen photographers will enjoy a fall walk up the river when leaves are floating in the pools which will also reflect great colours from the maples.
