Mt. H'Kusam Near Sayward; Sat Jul 10, 2010; hiking; leader: Brian Ross

A great day was had on this mountain which reaches 1750 metres into the skies, that were particularly clear at the peak. After a climb of 3 1/2 hours, we enjoyed lunch on the summit and then chose a different descent that looped back to our vehicles... Before returning home, we treated ourselves to treats at the Sayward Junction, where we had earlier enjoyed an early breakfast. I much enjoyed the day as well as the company, which included 2 Valley residents orienting themselves to our club and an out-of-town visitor enjoying what the Island has to offer... Hoping they had as much fun as I did and many thanks to Brian for leading a fabulous trek.
