A great group of hikers had a great trip up Mt Geoffrey - the rain held off & the clouds stayed high above the scenery.
Although we caught the ferry from Buckley Bay at 8:40, we arrived on Hornby just after 10 am. Everyone got quite hungry for lunch! which we had just after noon near the top. We started down about 1:15 which allowed plently of time to catch the 4 pm ferry back to Denman.
Thanks to William for the walkie-talkies, Otto for sweeping & leading the final bit up to the high point, Phil for navigation aid, Rea for ferry ticket reminders, and to everyone for the good company! the whole trip was a reminder of why is it great to hike with the CDMC, everyone contributes to make it an enjoyable experience.
p.s. Bob was back on his first hike since April - hope Rudy is back hiking soon!
