One Spot Trail; Wed Apr 28, 2010; hiking; leader: Krista Kaptein

NIne hikers enjoyed mostly sun with a bit of rain for the One Spot Trail hike. We managed to fit into two cars & therefore could park at the first interpretive sign post on Condensory Rd. Trilliums, bleeding heart, & elderberry were in bloom along the trail, with winter wrens, yellow-rumped & orange-crowned warblers, hummingbirds, robins, chickadees singing in the wooded areas. We had lunch in a field at Todd Rd instead of going the last 1km to the river - more showers then, so we headed back, partly along Dove Creek road, for a total of about 12km.
