Seal Bay Park; Sun Mar 07, 2010; hiking; leader: Otto Winnig      return to Reports

A nice loop around Seal Bay Park kicked off CDMC's regular 2010 schedule... Otto led a merry band of 16 on a more than 10 km stroll that took us from the forested regions of the park down onto the seashore, where lunch was taken amongst the seascapes... Some less adventurous souls opted out of the last remnants of this trip and retreated to Becky's (for hot soup) while more courageous members battled the shoreline elements. As a side-note, to our enjoyed day, it may have turned out otherwise had a couple of laggards not been offered timely direction by the all-knowing Wise Weasel... Thanking our lucky stars that such a creature roams the woods of Seal Bay, to help lost explorers find their way!
