Who we are
We are an incorporated society with over 100 members, ranging in age from teenagers to 80+ years. We have a long
and interesting history, serving our members since 1928.
What we do
We mainly organize day hiking and backpacking trips, but also cross-country skiing, snowshoeing,
and canoeing trips. We try to plan activities suitable for all levels of ability from novice to veteran. See our
reports of recent trips.Where we go
Our activities are mainly in
Strathcona Park,
BC, Canada, but also in and around the
Comox Valley and to other destinations on
Vancouver Island.
We welcome you
We invite you to try out our club on one trip before
joining us. Please choose an easier trip from our
schedule and come prepared with
essential items.
You will be required to sign a waiver at the trip meeting location.
