  • Who we are

    We are an incorporated society with over 100 members, ranging in age from young adults to 80+ years. We have a long and interesting history, serving our members since 1928.

  • What we do

    We mainly organize day hiking and backpacking trips, but also cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and other non-motorized activities. We try to plan trips suitable for all levels of ability from novice to veteran. See our reports of recent trips.

  • Where we go

    Our activities are mainly in Strathcona Park, BC, Canada, but also in and around the Comox Valley and to other destinations on Vancouver Island.

  • We welcome you

    We invite you to try out our club on a single day trip before joining us. Please choose an easier trip from our schedule and become familiar with our guidelines for participants. You will be required to sign a waiver at the trip meeting location.
